Star Wars themed folding screens were currently unveiled at Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto to celebrate the upcoming movie, The Force Awakens, which will be in theaters on December 18th, 2015.

The screens were created by artist, Taro Yamamoto. The calligraphy artwork displayed next to the screens were created by Seihan Mori, the temple’s abbot.
The big kanji characters are read as “kakusei” which translated to “awakens.”
You can view the screens from December 8 to 15 at the temple and then it will move to the Nippon Television Tower in Shiodome from December 18 to 29.
