To market to the 100 million Chinese basketball fans, NBA has also come out with Chinese New Year jerseys which will be worn during the matches around this holiday. For the first time, all 30 NBA teams are showcased in China this year. 51 games will be broadcast or streamed throughout the country. Looks like NBA is hoping to start a culture where Chinese folks will be eating the Chinese New Year meal with American basketball on TV.
